DJ Maphorisa Details His Contribution To Drake’s ‘One Dance.’ For a while a lot of South African’s were pissed off because DJ Maphorisa was involved in the production of Drake’s One Dance but he didn’t get any credits on the record.

The one thing that had us confused was that Maphorisa did not seem to care whether he got credits or not because he knew what he had done on the record. While talking to Genius, Maphorisa detailed his work on the song.

“I was recording Wiz when they sent [the files],” Maphorisa said, referring to Wizkid’s background vocals on the song. “There was nothing really there. We started working on it—I added some production” he explained.
