Davido Explains why we should protect the African sound from overseas acts. The Nigerian superstar has been in the game for a long time and he has made music with some of the biggest artists on the planet!

The Afro-Pop artist opened up about spending time in the United States working with artists like Tinashe, Meek Mill and more.

“I’d rather work with African artists as compared to international artists,” said Davido. He went on to talk about how we need to watch who we collaborate with because they will take your sound and they won’t credit you.

“The whole time I was in the States I figured that they wanted to benefit from the sound and not help me” he explained.
