Bongo Maffin To Be Reunited

It’s been over a decade since kwaito band has been off the music game. In their time they won themselves a number of awards which meant they were great and were loved by many. The group had 4 members, Afro-pop star Thandiswa Mazwai, Jah Seed, Stoan Seate and Speedy.

The musicians went their separate ways after years of being together and now the are in talks of reuniting after a 12 year separation.The reason for them parting was reported to be the feud that occurred between Stoan and Speedy leading Speedy to leave the group and Kalawa Jazmee Recording label.

Speaking to Tshisa Live Kalawa Jazmee owner Oskido revealed that the group will be making music together again.
“We cannot confirm anything right now but we are in talks to make it happen and they seem to be in advanced stage. Everyone enjoyed working together so now its a case of just putting all the pieces together,” said Oskido.

He also clarified that there was no bad blood between the group and that they often hung out. On the other hand Speedy said he was aware of fans wanting them to reunite but is unsure of whether or not it will happen.
