Brickz To Appeal Rape Verdict And Sentencing To Prove His Innocence

It has been 4 years since the Kwaito musician Sipho Ndlovu famously known as Brickz was accused of rape by a then 16 year girl said to be his niece. He has been attending court cases to convince the court of his innocence on the claims. Unfortunately Bricks was found guilty of the crime.

His lawyer Dumisani Mabunda said that his client didn’t commit the crime he’s being accused of. “My client didn’t do it, I had a lengthy discussion with him and he is determined that he didn’t do it. We don’t want to jump the gun for now, but we will wait for his sentencing on the 20th then we will request an appeal application,” Mabunda said speaking to TshisaLive.

Dumisani also added that they will appeal on both verdict and sentencing. The ‘Sweety my baby’ hitmaker is set to appear tomorrow (20 July 2017) in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court where he the court will be sentencing him.
