Moozlie, Rouge and DJ Doowap To Be Headliners At The Berlin eKapa Festival

SA female artists will be shining bright in the eKapa festival. The festival will be taking place in Paarden Eiland on Saturday the 5th of August 2017 showcasing the best South African art, fashion, music and culture.

Females that will be representing South Africa in the festical will be Moozlie, Rouge, and DJ Doowap, supported by DJ Capital, and Beatsampras. The festive will be filled with other international talents from Africa and abroad.They will also hold a photo exhibition.

The festival organiser Muma Khumalo stated that the aim of the festive is to promote artistic talents in South Africa. “We have partnered with J&B on this exciting venture to promote the arts in South Africa. We have the support of the South African Embassy in Berlin which strengthens international ties and opportunities. Many of our artists struggle exhibiting at major galleries due to various reasons such as not being palatable enough or a lack of financing. Through this cultural festival, we are creating an inclusive space for artists and entrepreneurs to exhibit their works and make money too,” explained Muma.

Tickets will be sold at R100 each for general tickets, while VIP access will cost R300 each (This includes a VIP bar and German gourmet platter).
