Pics! Ray Phiri’s Memorial Service

Over a week ago the legendary musician Ray Phiri passed on, living the country and family in utter sadness. The musician left behind a wife 5 daughters and 3 sons. His memorial was held Yesterday at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit. The funeral is set to take place on Saturday at the same venue at 8:00. Phiri died of lung cancer at the age of 70. One of his friends from abroad Paul Simons who he once shared the stage with paid condolences to the family and said that he might attend the funeral.
