Shekinah’s First Album To Release This Friday!

The 23 year old singer and songwriter has announced on twitter that her first album is to release this coming Friday. Shekinah was amongst the contestants in the 2011 and 2012 Idols SA music competition. She may not have won in the show but she won many people’s hearts with her wonderful voice. Later she relaesed a hit single “Back To The Beach” that opened many doors for her.

Shekinah has been nominated three times but only won one award at the MTV African Music Awards last year for best pop and alternative. She was nominated at SAMA’s in the category of Best Collaberation, and in the 15th Metro Music awards for Best Hit Single ”Back To The Beach”. The new album is titled “Suited”.

Her fans cannot wait for the album to release.
