Wits Awards Hugh Masekela With An Honorary Doctorate Degree! The South African legendary jazz musician was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Music from Wits University.

This is the third honorary PhD for the 78 year old legend. He holds a doctorate in Music from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and Rhodes University.
