Desmond and The Tutus To Be Part Of AfriSki WinterFest 2017

Award winning South African Rock band Desmond and The Tutus will be one of the acts representing SA in this year’s AfriSki WinterFest 3rd Edition which is set to take place at the Mountain Resort – Lesotho’s premier powdery playground. The AfriSki WinterFest is an all-out ski adventure for music, festival and snow lovers. It involves a lot of music and skiing.The dates set for it to take place are from the 24th of August 2017 until the 27th of August.

In an interview done by BizCommunity the group expressed their excitement about the wonderful experience that awaits them. “We’ve never been skiing before, and the best way to do it for the first time is to combine it with a party! We’ll lick the poles on the ski lifts too,” said one of the members of the group. They said that they will be making dance moves on ice that will warm up the audience. The group is currently working on new material as a follow up to their latest album titled Enjoy Yourself. “We will be touring the country as usual so you’ll be able to catch us all over the place in the coming months.”

The festival is going to be filled with Lesotho and South Artists giving the best performances possible while having fun on the ice.
