Dreamteam Set To Perform For Royalty In Wales
One of SA’s top rap groups Dreamteam will be heading to the UK to perform for Royalty in honour of the late Zulu King Cetshwayo. The group is set to perform at the Friends Of Royal Welsh Regimental Museum in Brecon, Wales.
Dreamteam will be touring all of Wales with the Zulu Regiments and Royal family members to showcase the combination of Zulu culture infused with Hip Hop music.
“We are so excites to be the only South African musical act to be chosen to represent the youth of South Africa on an international level. We are confident that we will capture the audience of UK with our musical offering,” said one of the members Trey.
The event will be a celebration of the 135th year King Cetshwayo stayed in the UK. The trio will be performing their greatest hits of all times, giving the UK the great taste of S.A hip hop cultural music.
A press statement released elaborated that the celebration will be the first of what will be an annual ongoing cultural exchange experience between the two kingdoms. It further explained that there will also be a build up on the 140th commemoration of the Battle of Isandlwana in the year of 2019.
The specific dates of their departure and tour performances haven’t been yet announced.
