Ntando Bangani Reveals The Reasons He Made His Upcoming Album
Award winning Afro pop singer and songwriter Ntando Bangani revealed in an interview with ZAlebs the reasons why he made the album that he did which is set to launch on the 24th of August. The album is titled Mayibuye. The star said that his album is all about solidarity, unity and reconciliation amongst Africans.
“The main point I would like to get across with this album is a point of unity. As a country, I believe that we really need to be united now more than ever because we can clearly see that things are not really going the right way. So I want to play my part in trying to reconcile us as South Africans,” he said. The singer also went talk about the challenges he faced in the process of making his album, he said that it wasn’t simple the album took longer than it should have. He was producing it and was writing all the songs in the album.
“It wasn’t simple, this album took me the longest to produce because I’ve been writing songs, going back, erasing those songs than trying to remake those songs again. So out of all the six albums I have done this one was by far the hardest that I have ever had to do because there’s also more competition now so you don’t just write and release music out there, you really need to be sure about what you’re doing. It took me a while but I’m happy with the end product,” said Bangani.
Fans can expect the album on the 24th of this month.
