Rhythm City’s Actor And Singer Dumi Masilela Has Died

South Africa has yet again woken up to the sad news that reported that Rhythm City Dumi Masilela Actor and Musician died last night after being hijacked. No further details have been reported regarding the incident he went through but his death was confirmed by  Michael Pocock, e.tv PR manager. The Hijacking took place in Tembisa last night. Dumi was 29 years old, few months ago he got married to the former Muvhango actress Simphiwe Ngema. The two dated for years before they decided to tie the knot, it is unfortunate that Dumi had to leave so soon.

Dumi was a soccer player before he got into music and acting, he played for  Supersport United and Highlands Park. He had to give up playing professional soccer due the injury he suffered when was involved in a car accidents. Masilela released his first single Shona Phansi last year in October. In one of his interviews he spoke of his passion for music. Celebrities and fans are shattered at the news of this tragic and sudden death and they expressed their condolences.
