Tresor Riziki To Headline The First Kigali Blankets And Wine Festival

Award winning pop music star Tresor Riziki will be headlining the Kigali Blankets And Wine Festival which will be taking place in Kigali,Rwanda 0n the 27th of August 2017. The event started back in 2008 and has taken place in other East African countries such as Nairobi, Kenya. The festival will be filled with everything tasteful to human kind music, food and wine. Tresor will be joined by other great acts from Africa Lilian Mbambazi, Mike Kayihura, Bruce Melodie, Kiki, Rachel And Dodo to name few.

Director of the event David Kamanda stated that they plan to bring all kinds of fun to anyone attending the event.”We plan to have restaurants, bars and play area for kids so that everyone who comes to Blankets and Wine Kigali gets to enjoy the Festival in totality” Kamanda added.”Under the banner of Blankets and Wine, the East African region has enjoyed live performances by musicians including; Oliver Mtukudzi, Mafikizolo, Mzungu Kichaa, AliKiba, Maurice Kirya, Sauti Sol, Eric Wainaina, Harry Kimani, Nyota Ndogo among others.”

Tresor announced the news on Instagram where he revealed that he recorded his first Demo in Kigali about 15 years ago and that his family will be traveling for the first time to watch him perform. “Almost 15 years ago I recorded my first ever demos in Kigali,Rwanda.I was so young and on fire with my dreams?This week end I head back there to headline the first ever Kigali Blankets & Wine Festival?Taking the Legends 80 with ? and for the first ever!! my whole family will travel for 4 hours to watch me live?This will be beyond EPIC”
