WATCH : Black Coffee Tells A Story Of His Journey As A DJ

Multi-award winning DJ Nkosinathi Maphumulo popularly known as Black Coffee shared a video that tells a story about where he started as a DJ. The DJ often post encouraging and inspiring messages on Social Media, he gives hope to most young black DJs out there. He asked one of the best writers in the world Paulo Coehlo to write a book about his life few days back, the award winning Brazilian writer responded to him and told him that he will get back to him when he’s done with the book he is currently working on. One Twitter user insinuated that Black Coffee is being racist, asked why he couldn’t ask any other black best writer to do that for him. His respond was that he doesn’t have time for racial issues. He went o explain that all he is trying to do is to aim high and show people that aiming high and breaking barriers is not a bad thing.

The video Black Coffee shared take us through his journey as a DJ from when he was young, how he grew from the industry, his experiences, and the challenges he faced. This video gives an insight to the part of his life most people never knew. He expressed how he always loved music. It is a touching inspirational story that most DJs out there can relate to, it is a symbol that in life you start out small until you make it big, passion drives you any way you please. Black Coffee has raised the South African flag in many countries, his talent has made the whole nation proud.
