WATCH : Cassper Nyovest Talks About His Experiences As A Rapper

Award winning SA Rapper Cassper Nyovest was on a breakfast show yesterday in New York where he was interviewed by the top hip hop enthusiast and Radio presenters in the US. The rapper mentioned a month ago that he will be interviewed by Charlamagne Tha God ,Angela Yee and DJ Envy on The Breakfast Club. The rapper spoke about anything and everything he could about Hip Hop, his music and his experiences as a rapper in Africa. Charlamagne mentioned that he was first introduced to Cassper on Kanye West’s stage show which they claimed Kanye stole from Cassper. The four were having a blast on Studio, it was more of a conversation than an interview. The Tito Mboweni Hitmaker mentioned that Kanye did the show after him. With all these interesting speculations of stage show stealing one would think Kanye and Cassper have met, Nyovest said that he has never met him.

Charlamagne asked Nyovest which USA rapper would he compare his status to in the US, he didn’t answer right away instead he asked them who is the biggest rapper in the US and said that whatever name comes up it is that person. The rapper went on to say he has no distributions deal with anybody and that getting radio play as an artist in Africa can be rather difficult. Cassper went to explain how he grows his brand without getting on radio by saying that he tours a lot and the internet really helps. The interview was too long the four spoke for over 30 minutes, discussing Hip Hop, Cassper, his career and how he make it in the industry as an independent artist.
