Watch : The Kiffness New Music Video For The Song White Privilege

The  electronic/pop musical group The Kiffness have released a music video for the lead single in their newly released album White Privilege. One may look at the title of the song and think that it is pure racist or white people are boasting or anything like that, instead the song raises some important points and it is funny. The group consist of 3 members David Scott,Raiven Hansmann and Mathew Gold. They were nominated at the SAMAs this year for the song You Say You Love Me which features Tawanna Shaunte in the category of Best Music Video.

They have 4 albums so far titled Kiff, Songs About Nice Things, Mr. Kiffness and Soul Safari. Kiffness is famous for its spicy memes & controversial views. They make jazzy, groovy & uplifting house music and is fast becoming one of South Africa’s favourite live electronic band. They were also nominated for 2 South African Music Awards in 2015 for “Best Pop Album” & “Best Producer”. The group formed in 2013.

David who is the founder of the Kiffness said that the aim of the music is to entertain South Africans  “White privilege was an attempt to turn my angst into something that all South Africans can laugh at & enjoy. While I want people to enjoy the video, my hope is that people will also see the gravity & seriousness of the issue I’m trying to address,” said Scott.
