Ladysmith Black Mambazo Founder Joseph Tshabalala’s Shocking Health Scare

It has been reported that the founder of the Legendary sicathamiya band Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Joseph Tshabalala is currently going through another health scare in his retirement.

The 76 year old has gone through a spinal surgery after being admitted to hospital back in July when he was struggling to get on his feet. Speaking to TshisaLive one of the member Sandile Khumalo said that his condition had gotten worse.

“He has been discharged and is recovering at home but is still struggling. He is old now. We were worried when he went in for the operation, and are still very concerned because he is sick, but he is getting stronger,” Said Sandile. Joseph has been experiencing these health conditions ever since he retired back in April he was visited by President Jacob Zuma in hospital. The group is now in the hands of his son Sbongiseni Tshabalala.

KZN MEC Sibongiseni Dhlomo arranged for a musician to be attended to by specialists from Inkosi Albert Luthuli Hospital to treat the him when his condition got worse.
