Last year she released an album titled My Truth, the songs spoke about her experiences and how she rose above all the bad publicity and accusations.

She discussed more about the single in an interview with Thando Thabethe on Thabooty Drive on 5FM. The singer spoke of how the single is by far one of her proudest projects and explained how the collab. came about. They hit it off after being seated together at an event, and when Kelly visited Durban months later, she rang up Kyle and Sketchy to make this magical tune.
