Download Zahara’s Album Umgodi. The Loliwe hitmaker has just released her 4th album titled Umgodi consisting of 12 songs that are a true masterpiece. Four of the songs in the album feature artists such as Kirk Whalum, Mkutukane sisters and Sivuyile.

Zahara did promise to give fans something magical and different on this album, she delivered that and more. In one of her interviews she mentioned that the album’s aim is to bring hope to young girls. “My life has come full circle. I know where I’m going, and I am happy and really proud of this album. I have graduated, but I’m still a village girl and my plan is to bring hope to every girl who thinks they cannot make it.”

The artist once spoke of how her music in South Africa isn’t appreciated and that she is planning on leaving the country. “I am now done with Africa and trying to impress everyone. It is time for Africa and South Africa to let me go and let me take my music to places where it can be appreciated. I love this country and what it has done for me but my talent needs to be heard,” Zahara said.

She further explained that people here (SA) focus more on her private life than they do on her music.“I have done everything I could here and now people have started to tear me apart. They focus on my private life instead of my music and they don’t give me the same respect.”
