Sipho Makhabane Releases New Album ‘Sinekhaya’.Legendary Gospel muso has once again added to his album collection an inspirational masterpiece he titled Sinekhaya consisting of 13 songs.

The award winner expressed that this album is a about his rebirth reflecting on all the hardships he has gone through as a musician and a a time when he almost lost his life. One of the songs feature Zimbabwean musical legend Oliver Mtukudzi and is titled Tinotenda which means Siyabonga.

“This album is the rebirth of Sipho Makhabane. I’ve gone through a lot of problems, surviving a horrible accident, some people had already written their RIPs, I was in a coma for six days, there was no hope. But on the seventh day I was up, thanks to the prayers from my fellow Africans,” He said.

The gospel star spoke of how he wanted to call music quits back in 2010 but later changed his mind because fans still wanted to hear and see him sing. Being in the industry for about 29 years would explain his desire to retire but he is one of the gospel musicians in demand in the music industry that’s why it wasn’t. Sipho has a total of 33 albums to his name.

He discovered big artists such as Hlengiwe Mhlaba, Israel Mosehla, Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors, Tshepiso Motaung and Thobekile. He still goes on with his talent searching, and has well stated that he is all about discovering “I’m all about discover, develop and expose,” he said.

The album is available in music stores nationwide.
