The Sweet Resistance Set To open For +LIVE+ On Their Tour To SA

American Rock Band LIVE is set to tour Cape Town and Pretoria in November the 7th, 1oth and 11th and the local act that will be opening for them is an alternative Rock Band The Sweet Resistance.

Live are legendary rock stars who have been in the music industry for over 2 decades. The band consists of 5 members  Chad Taylor, Chad Gracey, Patrick Dahlheimer, Chris Shinn and Ed Kowalczyk. They have a total of 18 albums and have won an award for Top Rock Artist In the Billboard Music Awards. They have sold over 22 million albums worldwide and earned two number one albums (Throwing Copper, Secret Samadhi).After 25 years of singing and taking a break in between, the band labeled their tour to SA as a Reunion.

The Sweet Resistance is one of the biggest rock bands in SA, they were nominated at the SAMA’s in the category of Best Rock Album ‘Where There Is Hope’ in 2016. They will performing all their hits from previous albums and the latest during their opening performances for the Live Band.
