Twitter’s Reaction To Riky Rick’s New Single Release ‘Stay Shining’

Rapper Riky Rick just dropped a new Kwaito banger titled Stay Shining, the single is so dope that it had everyone talking throwing compliments and criticism all over the place. Some twitter users even dubbed it a December hit. Featured in the single are some of the top acts in the SA music industry scene Cassper Nyovest and the Major League DJz. The single was anticipated by fans, now that it is here they couldn’t be happier you can tell by their reactions on twitter.

The single is made up of different kinds of elements Kwaito, Hip Hop and some House beats.”This year has been filled with its ups and downs. I made this song when I needed music to remind me of why I got into music,” he wrote on his tweet. This single was released under Mabala Noise, Riky’s previous recording company since he is now signed under Black Coffee’s label Soulistic Music.

In an interview with Pause Magazine he expressed how Kwaito is his main genre. “My music is eclectic and a bit confused in some sense. I’m like a Kwaito artist, Kwaito is like my main genre. Kwaito is basically rapping in our own language, Zulu or whatever it is and creating a vibe out of that,” he said.
