Cassper Nyovest: “I’m broke, I don’t have money”
Cassper Nyovest revealed in an interview on Metro FM with Masechaba that preparations for his upcoming Fill Up FNB Stadium concert have left him so broke he even thought of selling one of his luxurious cars.
In his own words the rapper said “I’m broke, I don’t have money”. The Tito Mboweni Hitmaker added that he’d spent so much money that two of his employees have yet to be paid “I was going to sell one of my cars to a guy, but he had a family emergency and he couldn’t buy the car,” he said.
Nyovest also revealed the shocking costs of the concerts and it was R15 Million, the stage alone costed him R5,2 million. “The show does not make money. We don’t make a profit; I’m investing in the industry and the name Cassper Nyovest. In time I will be amongst the greatest although I didn’t make enough money to show it.”
He went on say that this should be an inspiration to everyone, for them to not hesitate in investing on their dreams and talents and be willing to build a legacy no matter the cost. “Sometimes I feel like maybe I should stop investing so much in my craft and buy a Rolls Royce but I think I wouldn’t be as far as I am if I didn’t respect my craft,” he says.
The rapper is looking to fill up the stadium with 75 000 which will a break of record if succeeds, the tickets are still on sale available at Computicket ranging from R100 to R500. The show will take place on the 2nd of December 2017.
