Jabu Hlongwane Announces New Album Crosspower Experience 3

Jabu Hlongwane returns with a worship single, Wabethelwa, taken from his upcoming live album, CROSSPOWER EXPERIENCE 3 scheduled for release later this month.

Jabu Hlongwane encapsulates the essence of the live recording, and describes the significance of the first single Wabethelwa:

“I wrote this song three years ago and it carries the heartbeat of Crosspower Experience 3. Writing the song came from the awareness of how much we need God as people as well as how much He loves us, despite our frailties and shortcomings. The chorus says “Ngangingafanele” which simply means “I did not deserve it”.

When speaking about the process behind making the album, Jabu said:

“I managed to get together the most amazing team of musicians who thoroughly enjoy making music. The music I wrote for this project is very special to me because it reflects the time and space I am in right now – a space where I create the music that I want to hear. I am not confined by what people might expect from a Gospel music album. Its young, contemporary and varied. The musicians managed to interpret my worship in the songs and I can only hope that anyone who listens to the music feels the Worship experience like we all did during the recording.”

The highly anticipated live recording CROSSPOWER EXPERIENCE 3 will be available on digital platforms and in stores later this month.
