Presss Reveals His Personal Struggles
Former 101 member from the music show Pop star Presss revealed his personal struggles which were the main reasons he had been out of the public eye.
Born name Vusani Preston Sihlangu proved his outstanding musical skills back in the early 2000’s when he appeared in the show Pop Star and was amongst the winners.
His musical career seemed promising even after the group parted which is why he made a career being a music producer, singer and composer. He couldn’t celebrate his musical achievements entirely happily as he was compelled to keep low-profile from the public eye while he was going through drastic changes in his life of undergoing some painful experiences.
“You should know, that when I am gone (scarce) I am going through stuff. I go into this little shell of mine where nobody sees me. I just recently went through a divorce as well,” he revealed in an interview at The Drive with Mo Flava and Masechaba Ndlovu. Sihlangu also talked about the loss of his parents and how he sometimes finds himself crying.
“I’ve been through a lot. The loss of my parents, my dad in 2000 and my mum in 2006 but my mum passed away with my younger sister.”
“It’s hard, I don’t think I’ve had time to actually grieve for my family with everything else that I am doing. It’s a lot of work trying to be a legendary musician in SA. So at times I just find myself crying because I really haven’t grieved.”
Presss has recently dropped an album he titled Evolution Of Love which he said gives fans a glimpse into his life, his struggles but overall expresses love.
