Watch: Thami Shobede – Night and Day Video. Thami has released visuals for his single Night and Day featured in his debut album titled Never Lost which made its way to the list of Albums that were best selling last month.
Shobede gained his popurlarity in music show Idols SA, he didn’t take the winning title but he sure made it big in the music industry. His single Sthandwa wormed it’s way to the hearts of many people which increased his fan base in a huge way following Idols SA.
“I would like to think I won Idols. People go into the competition to achieve their music dream. You want to sign that big record dream, you want to get booked like every other artist you look up to, you want to be on TV and be recognised and trend. Part of that includes the prizes for the top spot. I think I got everything that comes with the competition except the prizes.
The music video were shot and directed by Pilot Film. This song is a love song with visuals that detail everything with an addition of Shobedi’s magical vocals.
“This is what pushed him to find solace in music. He started singing when he was 16 years old in a gospel music group dubbed MTN. That journey also taught him the art of song writing. Thami used that skill to write the five songs out of the 11 on his album. “Nothing in life is guaranteed and all I’ve got to do is capitalise on what I’ve got.”
