“We are Pastors not Babes,” Says Babes Wodumo’s Father

The father of the Gqom star Babes Wodumo finally spoke up about people who compare what Babes does to what he & her mother are, Pastors.

Like any popular celebrity who is as liberated as Babes there have been a number of criticism & insults about her wearing teeny-tiny shorts and doing some provocative dance moves.Being a Pastors daughter fueled the critics.

Instead of being crushed by all the hate, the Wololo hitmaker has instead climbed even higher and is making a big name of herself. Her work has made her enough money to be the sole breadwinner at home. Recently it was reported that she even bought her parents a house.

Her father Mbongiseni Simelane said she saw nothing wrong with what Babes is doing.He said he supports her all the way even though they had a different vision for her, they are incredibly proud of the path she’s carved for herself.

“We are pastors, Babes isn’t. She has her own calling. If her bum-cheeks show and people feel it’s a disgrace, then I apologise for her. But when I see my daughter on stage I am proud of her beauty,” clarified the father.
