1.Mzekezeke aka Dj Sbu
Sibusiso Leope, also known as DJ Sbu and believed to be Mzekezeke, is a successful South African DJ and Kwaito artist who is also the founder of TS Records. He is also the founder of MoFaya an energy drink which has been doing the rounds for the past 2 years. The popular DJ currently drives a Porsche and at some point stayed in a R50 000 per month townhouse.
2.Arthur Mafokate
Arthur Mafokate created the first biggest kwaito hit with his 1995 song “Kaffir” which to date has sold over 500 000 copies.While the song itself is notable musically for spearheading a new genre of music, its lyrics reflect the new freedoms that emerged after the political changes of 1994, including the implementation of a new constitution and democratic election system. Mafokate is nicknamed “King of Kwaito’” He is the founder of the 999 Music Label, a privately owned company which produces various top and upcoming artists of all genres. Mafokate named his newly formed music label 999 Music, after the house number of his family home in Chiawelo. Kabelo or Bouga Luv was a member of the successful kwaito trio TKZee. He has opened shows for world famous musicians such as Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Ja Rule and Rihanna[1][2] Kabelo co-owns Faith Records, a South African independent music company. He has also been a judge on SA’s Got Talent for the past two seasons.In 2005, Kabelo signed a deal with Reebok to produce a sneaker called, Bouga Luv. In April 2010 Kabelo was named as the presenter of a new multi-sport and lifestyle talk-show on South Africa’s SABC2 channel that airs on Fridays at 21:30. At the 30th SAB Sports Journalist of the Year Awards, on 6 September 2010, Kabelo was rewarded with two awards, in Best Newcomer Overall and Best Newcomer Television Presenter.
