Distruction Boyz Set To Perform At Sonar Festival In Barcelona. The Qgom boys who went gold with their hit Omunye Phez’komunye have announced that they will performing at the upcoming Sonar Festival to take place in Barcelona from the 15th till the 17th of June 2018.

The event will be filled with many international acts such as DJ Black Coffee, Richie Hawtin, DJs Ben Klock, DJs Diplo, DJs Bicep, DJs Motor City Drum Ensemble, DJs Agoria, DJs George Fitzgerald, DJs John Talabot, DJs A-Trak, DJs Helena Hauffs, DJs Bonobo, DJs Oscar Mulero, DJs Laurent Garnier, DJs Modeselektor, DJs Maribou State, DJs Jeremy Underground, DJs Dj Harvey, DJs Charlotte De Witte, DJs Preditah, DJs Lorenzo Senni, DJs Supernova, DJs Tony Humphries Seperator between DJs Henry Saiz, DJs Kode 9, DJs Benjamin Damage, DJs Laurel Halo to say the least.

The Qgom boyz are spreading their wings internationally, they have other tour lined up in UK, Canada and Europe.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Distruction Boyz’ Que said that they received an email from Diplo inviting them to the event.

“We didn’t meet him when he was here because we were super busy but he reached out to us on email and we made it happen.”

The group were hooked up with a December residency at Zone 6 in Soweto, by Black Coffee and said their goal was now to secure a residency overseas.

“We focused our attention on South Africa last year but we really want to go international this year. A residency is the best way to get exposure overseas and so that is what we are hoping to secure in the next few months.”
