Jabu Hlongwane premiers Moya Ka Jehovah (Live) on VEVO today. Taken off his highly anticipated live recording CROSSPOWER EXPERIENCE 3 – Moya Ka Jehovah is the opening track on the live album scheduled for release on 26 January 2018.

Jabu Hlongwane has managed to capture both the essence of his love for music, and worship in such an honest yet vibrant approach that makes for a truly visceral experience.

“Moya Ka Jehovah is one song I started writing in English and then re-wrote it in Zulu. The song is a prayer for the intervention of God in our daily lives. There is so much going on and people get confused because of many new teachings about God. The song is simply inviting the Spirit of God to intervene and give us Guidance.”

What you will find on CROSSPOWER EXPERIENCE 3 is a treasure trove brimming with musical integrity, fused with worship, as Jabu Hlongwane approaches everything from a new fluidity – starting with the grooves of the songs, and changing the music up, to the way the DVD was recorded. Unlike Jabu’s previous live recordings which took on a more traditional Gospel approach in the way the stage and audience was laid out. In contractCROSSPOWER EXPERIENCE 3 is far more intimate as Jabu Hlongwane creates a circular performance space around himself and his band which includes the audience, making for a far more engaging space for the viewer and listener.
