DJ Tira On Why He Doesn’t Want To Be Asked About Big Nuz

DJ Tira denies claims that he's jealous of other artists

DJ Tira has firmly asked fans and the media to stop asking him about Big Nuz the former kwaito group that was signed under his label Afrotainment. Mampintsha and Tira came forward with their sides of the story of what happened to Big Nuz which led them to stop releasing music. Mampintsha said that things just got sour between them and so they opted to go seperate ways.

“So, to be honest, the whole thing between Big Nuz leaving Afrotainment was because of my company, from the day I started having a company, things started not going well. Friendships started to become shaky. Even when I got Babes, I became someone who people gossiped about, even to this day I’m being gossiped about. So that’s the true story, no one said they wanted to leave, I never wanted to leave, I’ve never spoken about Tira or Afrotainment I just went to develop my own company. You’ll see that there was a time Big Nuz didn’t record for an entire year, so at that time I was busy developing my own artist (Babes Wodumo).” said the West Ink Owner Mampintsha.

Tira also released a statement that : “I’m not really sure what Danger and Mampintsha’s plans are for 2018, but if they want to work with DJ Tira or Afrotainment the gates are open. Also if there is anything they are doing individually I will support. I would really like to see all of us support each other. I would like to see the KZN music industry continue to grow. You can be at your best if you are happy!” he went on to say.

Now all of the above mentioned took place last month. This time around Tira wants people to stop asking him things about Big Nuz as he feels he made things crystal clear in the statement.

The Malume hitmaker also commented on accusations that he is jealous of other artists.

“I move too fast. I am all over the place because I don’t want to wait for anything or anyone. If I want to work with you, I get it done. I don’t have time for drama. People see this and say I am not there to support my artists and I am jealous. The truth is I am just working. If you can’t keep up with me, then don’t try.”
