Skwatta Kamp Releases Single Dedicated To Flabba ‘There You Go’

Earlier this week Slikour who’s part of the group Skwatta Kamp revealed that the goup has re-united and working on dropping an album entirely in Flabba’s honour. Livinig up to their promises to fans, the UMoya hitmakers just drops a new track titled There You Go which is a lead single on their upcoming album Conversations With Flabba set to feature their old hits and six new songs.
The main aim of the reunion and release of an album is to celebrate Flabba real name Nkululeko Habedi who was brutally murdered by his girlfriend Mandisa back in 2015, Mandisa was sentenced to 12 years in prison. They released the song today because it marks the 3 years he’s been dead.
Speaking to Drum publication earlier this week Flabba’s close friend and musician, Slikour said his death took its toll on the group because they were more like family.
“Flabba’s death was hard on us and no one in the group knew Sindisiwe personally for her to come and apologise for what she did. Fact is, Flabba is not coming back and she has to live with herself – which is harder than being judged by us,” he told the publication.
