Artist Line-Up For The Upcoming V&A Waterfront Music Festival
Jimmy Nevis & Femi Koya Set To Perform At V&A Waterfront Concert. The time of the most epic and fun musical festival V&A Waterfront Summer Concerts is finally nearer and as always it has announced that it will be packed with the greatest artists to evoke that ecstatic mood, the concert is set to take place on the 28th and 29th of April 2018 in V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre.
The artist set to dazzle the stage is Femi Koya who is set to perform at the V&A Amphitheatre on Saturday, 28 April from 6pm, entertaining audiences with a fuse of Afrobeat and contemporary groove music that also introduces a West African high-life and jazz.
On Sunday, 29 April ZionThree3 will be taking the stage at 3.30pm , a trio of South African vocalists best-known for pop and R&B music. The trio – Tashwin Manuel, Bradley van der Zandt, and Dillon Powell – are childhood friends and all grew up in musical and spiritual homes, beginning their singing careers in the church. Combining this background with a love of pop and R&B music, their performance is sure to create an earworm or two.
South African star Jimmy Nevis follows ZionThree3 with a performance at 6pm. At just 23 years old and already signed to labels Rude World Records and David Gresham Records, Nevis describes himself as an alternative pop singer-songwriter and music producer who is “trying to get South Africa back into pop music”
