Watch! Msaki breaks down at Kunye before her last performance. Afro soul songstress Msaki shed a tear at her last concert as it was her last performance before hiatus.

Msaki took a decision to take a break from the music industry due to certain reasons which she had shared before. After taking a decision to take a break from the music industry, Msaki had been doing her final shows as a way of saying goodbye to her fans. She previously shared a gig guide on her social media pages and had been touring around the country gigging. Msaki did her last and final tour and it left her and her fans emotional.

A video shared on TikTok shows Msaki crying before her performance. Shimza’s label imprint called Kunye Records hosted a farewell party for the singer called Msaki’s Last Rainbow on the 8th of April 2023 Sugar Rush Park in Ballito. They shared that the aim of the show was to celebrate Msaki and wish her well on her next journey. “Come and celebrate Msaki’s Last Rainbow with us and wish her well on her next journey, as one #kunye”, Kunye Records had tweeted.

The video of the singer left her fans emotional and gushing over her performance. They went on to share how good she is musically and how good her performance was. Her fans stated that her songs healed their hearts and souls and that she played her part in the music industry. They also shared that they hope that she will come back onto the music scene soon. “Please come back and heal us with your voice”, said one of her fans.

Social media also raved over her new song with music producer Sun EL Musician. Sun EL took to Twitter to share a video of himself and Msaki jamming to their new song titled Amandla which is yet to be released. Msaki’s fans expressed how they wish she wouldn’t take haitus because her music is healing. Others were questioning Msaki as to when is she really taking a break when she is still in studio making music. “Didn’t she say she’s retired from music though?”, a tweep said.
