Moozlie Announces An Upcoming Collaboration With Shekhinah
Moozlie responds to haters saying she can't rap
Media Personality & Rapper Nomuzi Mabena has announced the news that she and the multi-award winner Shekhinah will be working on a new project together. Mabena also stated that Shekhinah will also be writing songs for her upcoming album.
“She is a great writer and she will be writing some songs on the album; I can’t wait for the big reveal soon and that is all I am concentrating my energy on.”
Moozlie has in the past also worked with acts such as Kid X, DJ Speedsta and Rouge.
In 2016 Nomuzi left Cash Time because she felt the label had different goals for her career. Many suspected that there was beef with the record company owner Ntokozo K.O Mdluli but Nomuzi insisted she had nothing but love for Cash Time.
Since her debut in the music industry, many have repeatedly said that the self-acclaimed “New Age Brenda Fassie” cannot rap.
When asked how she feels about people saying these things the 26-year-old star rolled her eyes and told Drum that she doesn’t care what those people think.
“I’m here making moves, where are you though? Those who think I can’t rap, what are you doing with your lives and where are you with your career?” she said.
Nomuzi says she is not concerned about haters and she is focusing her energy on her upcoming project Victory which she has been working on tirelessly.
She said will share details of the project in due time.
“I’m planning a big reveal of the artwork and the first single; I can’t say much yet but I do however have features by Kid X, YoungstaCPT, and Gemini Major.”
