Brickz Talks About Spending Time In Prison And Making More Music. Kwaito star Brickz has been making headlines about his rape conviction and performances that most feel he had no right to do, he has now come forward to speak of how he can never control what people say or think of him but can only focus on making music. He even opened up about how prison was also how it contributed in him making best of his craft.
“The good thing about prison is you get time to think about yourself. You get time to sit down and look at your craft. You get time to look at the things that matter most in your life. I think musically, I am untouchable now.”
Brickz said he was released on bail to allow him to cover his legal costs and said performing and music was all that he wanted to focus on, despite the buzz around his release.
“There is nothing I can do about what people say about me. I cannot stop people from speaking about me, all I can do is make music. I don’t work at the courts so I don’t want to be in the news because of court (cases). I just want to make music.”
