Msawawa And Mzambiya On Their Comeback In Music. The two stars Msawawa and Mzambiya who rose into fame as child stars back in the early 2000’s took a break in music for a while but have now announced a comeback that promises to remind people of the greatness of Kwaito music. The two have just released a single together titled Imoto KaShukela.
“We were very young when we started out. Now we’re more matured and we’ve learnt from the mistakes of other kwaito stars – we’ve learnt to manage our money and time well.”
Msawawa was rumoured to have been down and out, a broke drunkard that was a has-been. During an interview with DRUM the star clarified himself.
“I was never down and out. I took the money my parents saved and invested it. I bought a site in Clermont in KZN and built myself a club called Msawawa’s Corner. I started the Msawawa Foundation where i donate school uniforms and books to children in underprivileged places around Durban. I started the foundation because I’m passionate about giving back to the community.”
He also donates groceries to needy families in the area through his foundation, “so there’s no way I can go broke” he added.
Fans can expect more music from the two stars, in collaboration and separately.
