Nominations lines for DMASA now opened.
Nominate Your Best Local Music Act Now! On Dance Music Awards SA. Online awards DMASA which celebrates local acts by also giving freedom to fans to nominate and vote for their admired acts have opened their lines to allow nominations to flow in. The 2018 award categories will remain the same as last year with the inclusion of the Best Gqom Record of the Year.
Voting and nominations will be made through the official website with support from social media. The awards ceremony will also be conducted online; the winner will be announced in each category. The winners will then be invited to a private honorary dinner to collect their physical awards in late September.
“With the evolution of dance music in Southern Africa being so massive, this platform got to honour the fan favourites. These accolades are voted solely by the public lends a hand to its authenticity by applauding the people who create the music for them. With the launch of DMASA in 2017, we look forward to celebrating yet another year of great dance music with these awards.” said DMASA creator Ricardo da Costa.
