Sho Madjozi Shares Details Of Her Upcoming Duet With Coldplay’s Chris Martin. Whoever told Sho Madjozi that her rapping in Tsonga won’t get her anywhere must be chewing their tongue right now because she is making best of her musical career and is succeeding amazingly.
Her recent big announcement is that she and the Coldplay’s Chris Martin are working on a song together which they plan to perform on the Global Citizen Festival set to take place December this year.
“The song is somewhere between my sound and Chris’s sound. We are both going to surprise people with this banger,” she teased.
“It was just insane to find out that Chris was a fan of my music. When I found out how he knew of my music and me he said ‘we are all living on the same planet, using the same internet.’
“That really put things into perspective for me, and in that moment, more than ever I realised just how small the world is.”
Martin and Sho Madjozi first met when they recorded the promo video for the forthcoming Global Citizen Festival at FNB Stadium earlier this year.
“Chris said we are likely to perform it together at the festival. So I am really excited,” she gushed.
