Kid X On Collaborating With Esther Mahlangu On Upcoming New Album. Kwaito star and serial hitmaker Kid X has announced the news that he will be working hand in hand with world-renowned artist Esther Mahlangu to paint the best picture for his album as means f showcasing African artistic talent.

The album is worth over R100 000 and will on the cover of the album the star titled Thank Da King.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE Kid X said he chose Ma Esther because of what her artwork meant to the SA child.

“I decided to team up with Dr Esther Mahlangu because I’m a huge fan of her work. It also resonates heavily with my own background so it made perfect sense,” he added.

“The inspiration stems from wanting to shine a light on Ndebele art, give it presence in the music space and wanting to broaden the appeal to all other spaces.”
