AKA Lay Out His Reasons For Shutting Down His Company. Rapper AKA has announced the news that he will be shutting down his digital Beam Group company he co-established with Prince Nyembe. His Reasons was that the company no longer catered to his needs the way they had initially agreed it would.

“Unfortunately, I also have to announce that Beam Group now no longer represents or manages me in ANY capacity,” tweeted the Fela and Versace hitmaker.

“We started the company with the best of intentions, unfortunately it’s just not working out for me the way I wanted it to,” tweeted the rapper to which he added, “…so I’m taking my ball and going to play elsewhere.”

“While I remain the owner of the company, I’m actually in the process of shutting it down.”

According to the company’s official website :

“Beam Digital was formed to create a more sustainable model for various industries where icons are not benefiting from their following.”
