Gospel Fans Express Disappointment On Dumi Mkokstad’s Win At The CGA. Singer Dumi Mkokstad was one of the big winners at the Crown Gospel Awards which took place at the Durban ICC 25th November.
While most were proud of him and felt he deserved the award of Best Gospel Song Of The Year of his track uLwandle, others expressed their dissapointments saying winning 3 years in a row proves he’s a “favourite”.
Dumi won the Best Praise Song award last year and Best Gospel Song in 2015. The star has been urging fans to vote for him and gained himself over 11 000 votes.
Other winners include Babo Ngcobo, who won the Best Artist category and Abathandwa for Most Downloaded song and Best Gospel Music Video. Best Male Gospel Artist went to Sipho Ngwenya and Best Female Artist award to Swazi Dlamini.
