Simphiwe Dana Bringing Back Her Spiritual And Healing Live Show

Simphiwe Dana Bringing Back Her Spiritual And Healing Live Show. Following a successful sold out 3 day show back in 2022, Dana has announced MOYA2023 live show to be held in March at the Joburg Theatre.

The Afro soul, jazz musician’s show is about healing, spirituality and the relations that people have with their ancestors and other people. Moya will also be a way of paying tribute to her deceased mother, Simphiwe shared. “She was a highly spiritual and prayerful woman who had always wished I would do a gospel album as that is how she raised me, so I wanted to honor her in the way I knew she would have liked. But also, it should elevate and bring us closer to the creator, perhaps even open a door for us to commune with our ancestors”, she said.

The new show Moya will be held at the iconic Mandela stage at Joburg Theatre. This show will be a three day show and will run from the 3rd of March until the 5th of March 2023. Dana revealed that she will be working with a lot of creatives to put up the Live show. “We look forward to also showcasing all the amazing fashion and hair that celebrated many of our creatives”, she said.
