Soweto Gospel Music Choir Receive A Grammy Nomination

Soweto Gospel Music Choir has gained itself yet another international recognition from the Grammy music awards which announced them as part of the nominees of the 2019 show. The event is set to take place on the 10th of February.

The group’s nominated on the category of World Music Album for their previous project Freedom along with artists such as Bombino, Fatoumata Diawara, Seun Kuti and Egypt 80.

In the past the group had won two Grammys in 2008 and 2007 both in The Best Traditional World Music Album category.
