An Update On Pitch Black Afro’s Premeditated Murder Charges

Thursday of this week the 2000’s rapper Pitch Black Afro real name Thulani Ngcobo appeared in court after being kept in custody for allegedly murdering his wife Catherine Modusane. According to a report by News24 the former musician was charged with premeditated murder.

Thulani was arrested on Tuesday after a pathologist who examined Modusane’s body found that she could have died from injuries she had sustained on the 31st of December on a Johannesburg B&B.

Ngcobo appeared briefly in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Thursday afternoon. The case was postponed to January 15.

The Ntofontofo hitmaker also reportedly told the court he could not afford to pay for a lawyer and he would apply for legal aid.
