Ishmael Wants to Break Into Afrikaans Market

Ishmael’s career has experienced a lot of changes throughout the years. Between being part of groups Skeem, Prophets of the City, Jozi and having a  solo career, the singer-songwriter has dabbled in different sounds. During his recent interview on Metro FM with Rams Mabote, he revealed that he wants to break into a new market.

As Rams called him, the comeback kid, Ishmael revealed that he wants to break into the Afrikaans music market.

He shared that he would like to add the boere musiek vibe to his sound. He also shared what he has been up to including the ups and downs of his career. After releasing a track that sampled the ‘Takalani Sesami’ theme, we believe Ishmael can dabble more.
