Mary J Blige says she is done dating broke men! who would blame her after her disastrous divorce settlement that led her to her paying millions of rands monthly on alimony. What sucks is this was a man she took care of in the marriage now has to even after it ended.

Whilst doing an interview on BBC 1extra the celebrated musician stated that she will only now go for man with more money – “He has to have more money than me, that’s for sure. Because I’m not taking care of any more men!”.

In July 2016, Mary J Blige filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences”. Blige and Isaacs’ divorce was finalized on June 21, 2018. Mary J Blige is required to pay her former husband spousal support in the sum of R450 000 a month and we can’t blame her for trying to stay away from men who need to be paid a monthly cheque after divorce.
