Phili Phaya Is African Inspired on Umhlaba

Afro-soul singer Phili Phaya finds inspiration from Africa in her latest song. Titled ‘Umhlaba’, the song is a a celebration of African music with indigenous sounds.

The song discusses a rather serious topic about land distribution. The Soweto Gospel Choir member sings with emotion over the blend of Xhosa sounds and jazz.
