Thembi Seete empowers women!
Uplifting and making a difference to women empowerment is a subject that is close to the heart of popular actress, musician and television presenter, Thembi Seete. In order to encourage women to improve their lives, their financial wellbeing and motivate them to create new opportunities for themselves, Thembi is teaming up with the innovative online credit life insurance company, Yalu to present the transformative women empowerment event – ‘I am complete’.
“Growing up in Soweto made me understand the importance of empowering our women with the tools to transform their lives. This exciting event is a platform to encourage and motivate women to live better and more fulfilled lives,” says Thembi Seete who is the official host for the event.
Organised by Democare Holdings and Projects, Yalu’s lifechanging event focuses on empowering women to become changemakers in their lives and in the lives of their communities.
“There is a lineup of inspirational speakers, providing a space where women can come together and experience nurturing fulfillment, supported by new possibilities for their emotional, physical and financial well-being,” says Mvunyelwa Keswa, Marketing Manager at the start-up company set to disrupt the credit life insurance market.
“As a company dealing in providing invaluable security through credit life insurance cover, protecting one’s family from having to repay a loan in the event of retrenchment, disability or death of the policyholder, we understand the significance of emotional, physical and financial well-being. This event will empower women to use their strengths and abilities to make this a reality,” he says.
‘I am Complete’ is packed with exciting and relatable motivational speakers such as popular advocate, coach, public speaker and a Woman of God, Juliana Rasethaba who will be sharing her insights on “Demolishing a poverty mentality;” Local businesswoman, Rose Nkhasi will provide in-depth advice on creating income generating from home.
One of the highlights of the event is a talk by Yalu co-founder, Tlalane Ntuli. No stranger to inspiring others, Tlalane is someone who encourages people to achieve financial fulfillment, expanding their beliefs about financial independence and what is possible for them to achieve.
Rounding off the event, the audience will be treated to uplifting music by Stephanie from Rivers Church, Sandton, who will set the stage alight with her magical sound.
“I’m excited to join Yalu on this transformative platform, giving women the space to invest in themselves. The event will provide a roadmap which promotes self-care and outlines strategies for successful revenue generation,” says Thembi Seete.
Yalu’s women’s empowerment event promises to move, inspire and encourage, opening up new doors of opportunity and experiences of well-being.
“The event will empower women in key areas of life, equipping our audience with resources to move beyond the current day-to-day challenges by implementing new ideas which can change their lives, their finances and the lives of those around them,” says Ntuli.
“Yalu, together with Thembi Seete is using the “I am complete’ platform, to show women that they are complete, right here and right now. We aim to inspire women to embrace their precious potential, transforming it into a power to uplift themselves and to truly own their lives in the way they want to,” concludes Yalu’s Marketing Manager.
