Babes is not a Victim but a Survivor!
The saga continues; Gqom Queen Babes Wodumo has ultimately crushed her silence proceeding a video of her being assaulted by partner Mandla Mampintsha Maphumulo became popular. The video caused indignation on Monday. Now, ever since the story has been circulating, she took a back seat. Finally, on Wednesday, Babes Wodumo, since she has opened a case of domestic violence in opposition to Mampintsha, she has updated an image of herself and the late Karabo Mokoena – who was butchered and burnt by her partner.
I am sure you still remember the tragedy; it was revolting and had South Africa in outrage and indisbelief of the kind of domestic violence affecting our country. The murderer – Mantsoe has been since then discovered guilty in 2018 of brutally killing Mokoena by the High Court in Johannesburg.
After ingrain investigation, they found he stabbed her to death, and he attempted to conceal the murder by stuffing her body in a bin. As if that was not enough; he advanced and trashed her body in a veld and ignited a fire to her body in 2017. Acting judge Peet Johnson also gave him a judgement; saying he was guilty of conquering the ends of fairness, neutrality of justice and abuse to do dreadful bodily harm.
“She stated, I could have been next. – “Your sister, your daughter, your niece could have been the one’s…… we are not victims but survivors,” She gave her fans a caption that attributed she is walking away. “ she says, I’m walking away hashtag.” – Babes Wodumo
Things just keep on getting interesting, she shared another video on Twitter. In the video, Babes Wodumo is seen with her friends. In the recording one of her friends proposes they wear black on their way to court, another emphasizing Mampinstha was in the wrong.
She responded – “I was tired,” – Babes Wodumo.
